These boys are cooking!

The Velocity team at Browns River Middle School yesterday learned and made awesome twice baked potatoes, pizza w/ caramelized onions and roasted peppers, smoothies with 2 requirements: they needed either kale or spinach and also either chia seeds or flax seeds. Great job by 40 boys and future chefs?

Roots Integrated Food Service

CHMS/RES Roots Update:
Shiitake harvest time
Our Roots Team has been busy meeting weekly at Camels Hump to see how we will advance the consolidation of these two great programs. Today we are doing a trial of cooking the main items at one kitchen and transporting it. One large batch of macaroni and cheese. This will offer the children a consistent great product. We will be preparing the food at central kitchen and cooking it fresh at each school.
